In this 12-strand round-plait construction, high-strength Ultra Blue fiber creates a rope that is 30-35% higher in strength than the equivalent polypropylene construction, giving RP-12 Ultra Blue up to three times more wear life than polypropylene.

This line uses Samson's round-plait construction to provide excellent wear characteristics. Ultra Blue, Samson's proprietary blue olefin bi-polymer yarn provides 35-40% higher strength than a conventional olefin rope. The Ultra Blue fiber enhances the gripping capability by developing distinctive outer surface fuzz that protects against internal abrasion.
